Friday in Omiš is reserved for a journey into the past — through words, signs and symbols. From June 13th, the Town Museum Omiš opens its doors to a unique guided tour and Glagolitic workshop, where you’ll discover the history of three scripts that have been used in these areas throughout the centuries.
Glagolitic script holds a special place — the Old Church Slavonic script, in whose workshop you’ll write a postcard with greetings from Omiš! You can find this unique souvenir only here.
Participation in the workshop and guided tour is free, you only pay the museum entrance ticket, which costs 4 €.
Visitors tour the museum exhibition following travel writings from Roman Omiš onwards. At the end, there’s postcard writing with old town motifs in beautiful Croatian medieval script – Glagolitic.
